geocaching gives me a break from my profession and another reason to get outside.

to quote John Muir:

Climb the mountains and get their good tidings.
Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees.
The winds will blow their own freshness into you...
While cares will drop off like autumn leaves...

I still leverage technology for this game, but sometimes just using a map and compass can be more fun and challenging. Geocaching is modern version of treasure hunting that requires a GPS receiver. It is pronounced Geo-cashing.
